It’s Oscar time!  Keram and co-host Aimee weigh in on the nominees for the 2009 Academy Awards.  As a special added bonus Keram shares excerpts from his friend Daniel Waters’ (writer of “Heathers”) exclusive list of the year’s best and worst films.  Discussion also touches upon the state of the SAG negotiations with the AMPTA and National Executive Director Doug Allen’s being fired, the virtues and dangers of yard sales and why you may not be able to watch TV after February 17th 2009 unless you are in the know.

What do you think should have won the 2009 Academy Award for best film?  Post your comments!

man-on-wireGuaranteed to evoke strong opinion, Keram extrapolates his top ten list of documentaries about men that will change your life that he originally posted at culturepin.com.  Docs can be about challenging subjects and the KeramCast never backs down from a good one.  Joined by co-host Aimee Lynn Chadwick, this episode also answers some viewer mail, and opines on everything from shark finning to why John Lennon was assassinated, from whether it is morally defensible to home-school your own kids off the grid to Charles Darwin’s panic disorder.

Thanks for listening to the KeramCast!  We work hard to bring you the best quality content and make sure that everything is working as smoothly as possible so there is no interruption in our catalogue.  This last week, however, several plugins that enable us to distribute the podcast to as many outlets as possible were updated and are acting a little funky and we have noticed that the episodes are not woking in iTunes.

Please know that we are working as fast as possible to get this problem fixed and thank you for your patience and understanding.  You can still download and stream the podcasts from KeramCast.com itself or subscribe at any number of other podcast outlets like Odeo and Blubrry.

We look forward to being back on iTunes with you and always love to hear your comments.
