nab show 2012 - the great content shift Keram and co-host Aimee Lynn Chadwick return from the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB show) conference in Las Vegas, attended by 91,000 members of the entertainment and tech industries, to report on the state of tech, media distribution, social media marketing, transmedia, the Cloud, and Big Data (mining).

Keram also goes into depth about why you should consider resurrecting the carrier pigeon and investing in a typewriter from the gold ducats you have stashed underground in an unmarked metal safe.

Strange to think that in the last episode of the Keramcast, we were talking about the revolution in Egypt. Since then we have seen tsunamis, earthquakes, nuclear meltdowns, Libyan and Syrian civil war, the death of Bin Laden, the Royal wedding, the Canadian election, tornadoes in the Southern states, 3 movie premieres and NAB 2011. The new Keramcast episode 21 will cover it all. Post your questions now. We will answer.

Well, well, well what do we have here?  Keram Malicki-Sanchez and Aimee Lynn Chadwick, hosts of the Keramcast.com visit the studios of The Second Column, a weekly comedy podcast that features four improvisational actors who trade stories and jokes with their favorite comics, actors, writers and musicians in Los Angeles.

An hour+ of madness ensues as the six podcast veterans share devilish tales about funky Ecuadorian mountain cuisine, making out with Winona Ryder and double rainbows. Listen now to this very special episode of The Second Column and see what happens when the Keramcast is not playing on its home field.

Hello dear friends, while we have been busy relocating our podcast studio to its swanky new location in Hollywood, California, co-host Aimee Lynn Chadwick has been busy shooting with Christian Slater! Tonight you can see what Aimee does for a real living on Jerry Bruckheimer’s new crime drama The Forgotten on ABC at 10PM.

We hope you enjoy it and would love to hear your thoughts. We also look forward to bringing you hot new episodes of the KeramCast as soon as we get all these machines plugged back in.

Sincerely,

Keram Malicki-Sanchez

Dear friends of the KeramCast – while we assemble the next episode of KC, I wanted to mention that a film I worked on in 2007 – Marvel Comics’ Punisher: War Zone is out this week via a 2-disc standard DVD and Blu-Ray set. Look for it at your local DVD seller. I loved the film and am proud of what everyone accomplished. If you didn’t get a chance to see it in theaters, treat yourself to a whole lot of fun, and release that pent up rage through it, vicariously.

Also, I invite you to call the KeramCast at our LA studios on (310) 929-7268 and leave your stories about dealing with anxiety. If you do not suffer from an anxiety disorder, you are off the hook. But if you are just shy or nervous talking about it, believe me, you are not alone. We will keep all callers anonymous unless you want us to use your first name and location. We are building a life-changing episode for you based on years of experience with this.

Finally, I want to let you know we are hard at work finishing my new album Come To Life and hope to have it ready for the world by Fall 2009; it takes so much to make a record and even though we live in a fast-consuming and discarding society, the actual manifestation of a vision is formidable. You can purchase/download my acoustic album “Box” at http://cdbaby.com/cd/keram or http://keramsongs.com

Thank you for being a listener and subscriber of the podcast and we look forward to sharing new adventures with you soon!

Keram and crew.

Thanks for listening to the KeramCast!  We work hard to bring you the best quality content and make sure that everything is working as smoothly as possible so there is no interruption in our catalogue.  This last week, however, several plugins that enable us to distribute the podcast to as many outlets as possible were updated and are acting a little funky and we have noticed that the episodes are not woking in iTunes.

Please know that we are working as fast as possible to get this problem fixed and thank you for your patience and understanding.  You can still download and stream the podcasts from KeramCast.com itself or subscribe at any number of other podcast outlets like Odeo and Blubrry.

We look forward to being back on iTunes with you and always love to hear your comments.

KMS and crew.

new year's eve ticking clockAs the KeramCast ramps up to the new year, we are preparing a fresh slate of episodes to keep you company while you drive, bathe, jog, pwn nubs in the PvP battlegrounds, or do whatever it is you do when listening to our podcast.

To help us get a better idea of what you are into, we created a new poll at the main website (in case you are reading this via email or a feed) at https://keramcast.com.

Please take a moment to register at the site (which also enables you to post comments on past and future episodes) and vote on your favorite subjects so we can prioritize what we will discuss and whom we will interview in the coming months.

Thanks for listening, and Happy New Year.
